  13. *** What is HTML File Mapper? ***
  14.  
  15.     HTML File Mapper is an html file management program that 
  16.     aids in the management of information resources for pages 
  17.     on the Internet's World Wide Web.  For a quick introduction 
  18.     to the HTML File Mapper program, try 'A Brief Tutorial' 
  19.     in the program's Help system.

  21.     The HTML File Mapper program can be a significant aid in 
  22.     managing Web page projects, especially if a project is 
  23.     large, involving numerous links to other Web resources, such 
  24.     as html files, graphic images, and URL's.  For large 
  25.     projects, it is important to maintain documentation about 
  26.     which html files link to which resources, where the links 
  27.     occur, etc.  This information is of particular value when 
  28.     updates to Web pages are needed.  The program can be used 
  29.     to insure that all required files are included in the 
  30.     updating process.

  32.     Basically, HTML File Mapper scans an html file (referred 
  33.     to as the Source Document) for references to other html 
  34.     files, graphic images, and URL's.  The resources included 
  35.     in the scan are determined by user option.  Also available 
  36.     as a user option is the ability to scan not only the original 
  37.     source document but also all other html documents linked by 
  38.     the source document.  This provides for a complete mapping 
  39.     of all resources referenced in the entire Web page project.

  41.     Note that HTML File Mapper operates at the local level.  It 
  42.     does not function as an on-line program to map resources 
  43.     while the user is logged into the World Wide Web.  Also note 
  44.     that HTML File Mapper is a Windows environment program.

  46.     HTML File Mapper is distributed on a shareware basis.  
  47.     You are granted a license to use this program for a 
  48.     specific period of time.  Please read the license 
  49.     agreement contained in the *** License Agreement *** 
  50.     section of this documentation.  For information about 
  51.     the advantages of and the procedure for registering your 
  52.     use of the program, see the *** Registration *** section 
  53.     below.

  56. *** Installation ***
  57.  
  58.     If you obtained this program by downloading a ZIP-ped
  59.     file from an on-line source such as CompuServe or The 
  60.     Internet, you should first extract the installation 
  61.     files into a separate directory on your hard disk by 
  62.     un-zipping the zipped file (HTML_MAP.ZIP).  Then 
  63.     follow the same procedure as for installing the program 
  64.     from a floppy disk (below).

  66.     If you obtained this program by downloading a self-
  67.     extracting file from an on-line source such as CompuServe 
  68.     or The Internet, you should first extract the installation 
  69.     files into a separate directory on your hard disk by 
  70.     executing the self-extracting file (HMAP_SE.EXE).  Then 
  71.     follow the same procedure as for installing the program 
  72.     from a floppy disk (below).

  74.     If you obtained this program on a floppy disk, go to the
  75.     Windows Program Manager, select Run from the File menu, type
  76.     the full name of the installation program (A:\SETUP, if you
  77.     are installing from a floppy in the A: drive), and press the
  78.     OK button.  Follow the prompts of the installation program 
  79.     until the installation is completed.

  81.     NOTE that this program requires the file VBRUN300.DLL.  
  82.     Depending on how you obtained a copy of this software, there
  83.     may or may not be a copy of VBRUN300.DLL included with the
  84.     HTML_MAP program files.  In any case, the SETUP program 
  85.     (above) will not automatically install this file on your 
  86.     system.  If you do not already have VBRUN300.DLL loaded on 
  87.     your system, you can obtain a copy of the file either by 
  88.     downloading a copy of the file from your on-line data 
  89.     service or by contacting Sonshine Computing Services as 
  90.     described under *** Technical Support *** or *** E-Mail *** 
  91.     below.  VBRUN300.DLL should be placed in your 
  92.     C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  177.     HTML File Mapper is distributed on a shareware basis.  
  178.     If you use the unregistered version of HTML File Mapper 
  179.     for more than 30 days, you are expected to register.  
  180.     When you register, you will receive the latest registered 
  181.     version of HTML File Mapper and will be recorded as a 
  182.     registered user.  You will also be included on a mailing 
  183.     list for future versions of the program.

  185.     The registration fee is $29.00 including any tax, shipping,

  225.     version and an unregistered version.  Your license to 
  226.     use the software is dependent upon which of the two
